The Project
Hook:
Every child alive right now is navigating storms they don’t have words for. Not weather. Rage. Anxiety. The crushing need to be seen. inUpowers gives those storms a face – and hands a child the power to survive them.
Concept:
inUpowers is a principle-based animated edutainment series for kids 4–10 and co-viewing families, sitting at the intersection of Inside Out’s emotional architecture and Bluey’s multigenerational warmth – with the curriculum depth of Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood. The IP is already a functioning ecosystem: 12 fully designed characters, 30+ written scripts, a live AI companion app operating in 87 languages, and a published library of books, workbooks, and clinical tools. This is not a series waiting to be built – it is a franchise waiting for its screen.
Format:
TV Series · 2D/3D Hybrid Animation · Episodes: 7–12 min (principle-based story) + 1–3 min inUpower moment · Kids 4–10 · Co-viewing families · Edutainment / Action-Comedy / Wellness Franchise potential: toys, gaming, ed-tech, clinical wellness, AI companion platform
Comparables:
✓ Inside Out — ~4.9× theatrical return · emotional intelligence benchmark
✓ Bluey — #1 kids’ show on Disney+ US · $2B+ global merchandise
✓ Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood — 150+ territories · gold standard curriculum series
What’s Ready
IP & Development Status:
✓ 12 characters fully designed, nearly finished rigging for animation
✓ 30+ scripts written, ranging 7–11 minutes each
✓ Trademarked and copyrighted IP
✓ Live AI companion app: 2,864 sessions, 87 languages, 5.6ms response time
✓ Fully developed online course and educational curriculum
✓ Published library: children’s books, workbooks, clinicians guide, vocabulary and BE STILL cards
✓ NDA available; full materials package on request
The Team:
Tami Hymas – Showrunner and Founder. Creator of the inUpowers IP and its entire character universe. Developed the emotional lexicon, character psychology, and curriculum framework alongside psychologists, teachers, and counselors. The IP carries her complete authorial knowledge of how every character acts, reacts, and interacts – a creative asset that does not transfer.
The Opportunity
The Ask:
Commissioner and/or development, production partner sought to bring inUpowers to its pilot and series. Structure and terms available under NDA. Open to:
✓ Streamer or broadcaster commission (series order or pilot commitment)
✓ Co-production partner with animation infrastructure
✓ Strategic investor seeking equity position across franchise verticals
Why Now:
The global children’s mental health crisis has created an audience that is not just willing but desperate for content that takes emotional intelligence seriously. The edutainment animation space is consolidating around franchise IP — standalone series without licensing legs are losing ground. inUpowers enters with characters, curriculum, technology, and a clinical co-development pedigree already in place; the window to establish it as the category-defining EQ franchise is now.
De-Risked From Day One:
✓ 30+ completed scripts — No development gap between greenlight and production pipeline
✓ Live AI platform with 2,864 active sessions — Demonstrates real audience demand ahead of screen
✓ IP trademarked and copyrighted — Fully cleared for production
✓ Curriculum developed alongside clinical experts — Built alongside psychologists, counselors, and teachers, ensuring clinical credibility is built in
