  • Inter Medya has launched its microdrama strategy by beginning production on its first vertical drama, ‘Iki CEO Bir Araya Gelmemeliydik’. The company will also distribute third-party projects to build a catalog for mobile-first audiences. (🇹🇷)
  • Singapore’s Empire of Arkadia (EOA) and Mocha Chai Laboratories (MCL) started production on a six-part scripted adventure drama, ‘Lost and Found’, in collaboration with NHK and TV Man Union. The series, starring Anna Yamada and Shawn Thia, targets a global audience, with EOA handling global distribution. (🇸🇬)
  • New Line Cinema began filming the supernatural horror sequel, ‘The Revenge of La Llorona’, to the 2019 film ‘The Curse of La Llorona’. It is directed by Santiago Menghini, produced by James Wan, Gary Dauberman, and Emile Gladstone, and stars Monica Raymund, Jay Hernandez, and Raymond Cruz. (🇺🇸)
  • Actor Hrithik Roshan is making his streaming debut as a producer, with his company HRX Films collaborating with Prime Video on the thriller series, ‘Storm’. Directed by Ajitpal Singh, the cast includes Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, and Saba Azad. (🇮🇳)

That’s a Wrap: Filming Is Complete!

Projects that have concluded filming are now moving into post-production
  • Director Luca Guadagnino (The Pretenders) confirmed that principal photography has wrapped on the biographical drama ‘Artificial’. The film follows OpenAI head Sam Altman (played by Andrew Garfield) with Yura Borisov in a supporting role, alongside Monica Barbaro, Cooper Koch, Cooper Hoffman, and Mark Rylance. (🇺🇸)
  • Josef Brandl’s first feature, the drama-comedy Superbuhei, has entered post-production after shooting in Germany. Starring Oliver Korittke and Silke Bodenbender, the film is produced by Junifilm and focuses on a supermarket bar owner’s life. German distribution rights were acquired by Barnsteiner Film. (🇩🇪)
  • Filming for ‘Ahsoka’ Season 2 has officially wrapped, featuring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger. The Disney+ series is expected to premiere in 2026, continuing the storyline of Ahsoka and Sabine Wren being stranded on the ancient planet Peridea while Grand Admiral Thrawn returns to power. (🇺🇸)
  • Netflix series ‘Sweet Magnolias’ has wrapped filming for its fifth season, which is expected to premiere in 2026. Creator Sheryl J.
