Toronto, 13th September, 2024 – Film Volt Group, led by CEO Mark Busby, is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Ilona Smyth, CEO of Smyth Casting Inc., an esteemed Canadian international casting company. This new collaboration, unveiled during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2024, is generating significant industry buzz.
Collaboration on New Projects
The partnership aims to explore a wide range of project opportunities, starting with the development of a Canadian true crime thriller titled Daring Greatly. This project is a joint venture between Film Volt Group, icogitate Productions Inc., Media Eye Digital, Ctap.ca, and Dreadnoughtus Media Productions.
Spotlight on Canadian Horror
Another exciting project in development is Death Noise, a Canadian horror film created by Esabella A.K. Strickland, a 19-year-old neurodivergent polymath writer and actress. This highly anticipated project was recently acquired by Film Volt Canada.
