Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s Jamie Oliver Group and the major production company Fremantle have entered into a new five-year agreement, which extends their “long-term partnership and successful collaboration spanning over two decades.”

Fremantle has been Jamie Oliver’s TV distribution partner since 2002, playing a crucial role in ensuring that his extensive and award-winning content portfolio reaches a vast global audience across multiple platforms in over 200 territories.

The company currently distributes 83 Jamie Oliver series and formats to more than 100 clients, with over 15 million hours of Oliver’s content streamed to 7 million users in the U.S. alone.

“Under the new extended agreement, Fremantle will hold global rights to Jamie Oliver’s TV distribution, AVOD, FAST, and digital platforms, along with a shared commitment to explore new entertainment opportunities,” the partners stated. “Fremantle will collaborate closely with the Jamie Oliver team to further enhance his digital presence, following the successful launch of Jamie Oliver’s TV library on YouTube in the U.S., aiming to grow digital audiences and introduce new generations to Jamie’s complete catalog.”

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We take pride in our long-standing relationship with Jamie to bring his content to a global audience,” said Bob McCourt, Chief Operating Officer, Commercial and International at Fremantle. “We are very excited to continue our partnership and look forward to expanding our offerings across TV distribution, FAST, digital, and branded entertainment.”

Zoe Collins, Managing Director of Jamie Oliver Group, added: “I’m thrilled to continue building on our successful partnership with Fremantle as we aim to enhance Jamie’s profile in our key markets through multiple customer touchpoints, including FAST channels, YouTube, AVOD, and more traditional broadcast platforms.”
