Expanded Spanish Content Coming to Hulu + Live TV and ViX Subscribers

New York, NY and Burbank, CATelevisaUnivision and Disney Entertainment have announced a new multi-region distribution partnership aimed at enhancing access to Spanish-language content across the United States and Mexico.

TelevisaUnivision Channels Join Hulu + Live TV

Beginning June 3, 2025, TelevisaUnivision’s U.S. networks—Univision, UniMás, TUDN, and Galavisión—will be integrated into the core channel lineup of Hulu + Live TV. This addition coincides with major soccer events, including the FIFA Club World Cup and the Concacaf Gold Cup, providing subscribers with access to a broad range of Spanish-language programming encompassing scripted and unscripted series, news, sports, and live entertainment.

Subsequently, additional TelevisaUnivision channels such as N+FORO, TLNovelas, Bandamax, De Película, De Película Clásico, Telehit, and Telehit Música will be incorporated into the Español add-on package for Hulu + Live TV subscribers.

Disney+ and ViX Bundle Launches in Mexico

In early June, a bundled offering of Disney+ and ViX will become available to subscribers in Mexico. This combined package will grant ViX users access to Disney+ content, including a vast library of films, original series, and iconic franchises, alongside TelevisaUnivision’s extensive Spanish-language programming.

Executive Statements

Rafael Urbina, President of Streaming and Digital at TelevisaUnivision, stated, “We’re thrilled to enter into this new partnership with Disney that puts our community at the center. TelevisaUnivision is the top producer of Spanish-language content in the world, and this deal underscores two critically important elements: our portfolio is a main anchor for any pay TV distributor—without TelevisaUnivision, there is no complete pay-tv offering; and our direct-to-consumer business continues to break boundaries as ViX further strengthens its powerful connection to Hispanics around the world.”

Lauren Tempest, General Manager of Hulu and Executive Vice President of DTC Content Partnerships, commented, “This new partnership allows us to strategically build upon our current channel offering and Spanish-language content available on Hulu + Live TV, while providing subscribers in Mexico with a meaningful opportunity to access the very best of Disney’s blockbuster films, award-winning Originals and iconic franchises alongside TelevisaUnivision’s industry-leading Spanish-language content including news, novelas, sports and more in one subscription.”
