In honor of the iconic stop-motion sketch comedy series’ 20^th anniversary, Adult Swim and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios are excited to announce a new installment of Robot Chicken: The Robot Chicken Self-Discovery Special, set to debut this summer. This latest offering will humorously critique beloved reality shows from Warner Bros. Discovery networks, showcasing the show’s enduring relevance in pop culture.

Since its premiere on February 20, 2005, this acclaimed series, co-created by and starring Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, has achieved remarkable success, earning 23 Emmy nominations and securing six wins, with the latest accolade in 2022 for “Outstanding Short Form Animated Program.” This impressive track record underscores the show’s impact and innovation in the animation landscape.

A Journey of Self-Discovery

The upcoming special follows the endearing yet clumsy Robot Chicken Nerd on his quest for self-discovery through the lens of reality television. Will he find love on a show like 90 Day Fiancé, or become a mere footnote in Shark Week? Expect clever parodies of fan-favorite series from Discovery, Food Network, and TLC to provide entertaining answers to these pressing questions.
