The partnership, formalized at the 25th edition of Ficci Frames in the presence of Government of India Ministry of Information and Broadcasting secretary Sanjay Jaju, involves Netflix assisting IICT in curriculum development and connecting industry professionals with students to share expertise and best practices.

As part of the agreement, Netflix will utilize the Netflix Fund for Creative Equity to provide scholarships to selected students identified in partnership with IICT, focusing on promoting diversity in the media and entertainment field.

To further strengthen the alliance, Netflix will engage in IICT’s national councils, including the R D Council, the Academic Council, and the Industry Development Council, bringing together key voices from academia, industry, and policy to shape India’s AVGC-XR ecosystem.
