- Sony Pictures has acquired English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic remake rights to French hit A Little Something Extra from Other Angle Pictures. The film has grossed $95M globally and was France’s top box office title in 2024. (🇺🇸)

Sneak peak into recently announced production projects worldwide- Production begins in London on season two of Paramount+ spy thriller The Agency: Central Intelligence, starring Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Richard Gere. (🇬🇧)
- Netflix and Applause Entertainment confirm Black Warrant Season 2, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and starring Zahan Kapoor, with the new season set to explore deeper themes of incarceration and redemption. (🇮🇳)
- The Gentlemen begins filming Season 2 with returning cast and new additions including Hugh Bonneville and Maya Jama, as the story expands from the English countryside to the Italian lakes. (🇺🇸)

That’s a Wrap: Filming Is Complete!
Projects that have concluded filming are now moving into post-production- The live-action Voltron movie, starring Henry Cavill, has wrapped filming. Producers confirm it won’t go straight to streaming, promising a theatrical release and a fan-focused adaptation of the iconic franchise. (🇺🇸)

Streamers & channels acquiring latest content across the world- Prime Video has acquired Karan Tejpal’s Hindi crime thriller Stolen, a Venice selection produced by Jungle Book Studio. The film has won multiple international awards and features a cast led by Abhishek Banerjee. (🇺🇸 🇮🇳)
- Netflix has acquired Richard Linklater’s Nouvelle Vague from Goodfellas and CAA Media Finance for $4 million, marking a record U.S. deal for a French-language film following its Cannes debut. (🇫🇷 🇵🇹 🇺🇸)
