Global media technology partner NEP Group has announced the acquisition of Seven Production, a Dubai-based independent film and broadcasting production company. This strategic move is intended to significantly strengthen NEP’s presence across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

Seven Production will integrate into NEP’s Middle East and Asia regional division. Following the acquisition, the combined entity is positioned to become one of the largest providers of live production solutions serving broadcasters, sports leagues, event organizers, and government entities in the region. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The acquisition builds upon NEP’s existing experience in delivering major live sports and entertainment broadcasts, including projects such as UFC, ILT20 UAE Cricket League, and LIV Golf. The addition of Seven Production’s resources and local expertise is a key investment designed to deepen and expand support for clients operating in the high-growth Middle Eastern market. The combined offerings now include a comprehensive suite of live production solutions, such as outside broadcast (OB) and satellite trucks, flypack systems, connected production facilities, regional studio network access, and 4K/HD equipment, alongside crewing and systems integration services.

Martin Stewart, CEO of NEP Group, stated that the expansion taps into Seven Production’s deep experience and knowledge, marking a significant investment in the Middle East. Waleed Isaac, President of NEP Middle East and Asia, welcomed the new partner, noting the cultural alignment and shared focus on customer-driven innovation and consistent international delivery with localized expertise.

Pierre Tabet, Managing Director of Seven Production, commented that joining NEP would add global resources and support for their engineering talent, positioning the company for increased business with international clientele. Mr. Tabet will continue in his role as managing director of the NEP Middle East business.

Seven Production will operate under the NEP Middle East and Asia regional grouping. The merger is designed to seamlessly combine the companies’ personnel, technology, and service offerings to meet the growing demand for high-quality production in the region.
