All 13 episodes of Season 2, a collaboration between Atomic Cartoons (a Thunderbird Entertainment Company) and the globally recognized lifestyle brand tokidoki, will be available on Max starting Thursday, May 15. Viewers can expect even more thrilling adventures, deeper mysteries, and a climactic battle that could alter the ocean’s fate forever.

Synopsis: In the wake of the emotional events following the Lunar Eclipse, Astra and the Mermi-Crew encounter new challenges as they embark on a quest for the legendary Mermicorno Kingdom. Their journey reveals long-hidden secrets, fosters new friendships, and pits them against formidable foes, including the ominous rise of Dark Pearl. As their friendships are tested and dormant powers awaken, the fate of their world hangs precariously in the balance.

In this new season, Astra grapples with mastering her evolving powers while navigating a growing conflict that threatens everything she holds dear. Alongside Gwen, Kameko, Squishella, and the rest of the crew, Astra must confront harsh realities, unlock ancient mysteries, and lead a perilous mission to save their world. The returning voice cast features notable talents including Bryn McAuley (Caillou) as Astra, Pearl Girl, and Barb; Annick Obonsawin (Cyberchase) as Gwen and Royal Mother Pearl; Jonathan Langdon (Barney’s World) as Nautique and Sawtooth; Kimberly-Ann Truong (My Little Pony) as Squishella; Kaya Kanashiro (Bakugan) as Kameko; and Jeremy Harris (Big Blue) as Ika Inkblot.
