The Miami-Dade County Office of Film and Entertainment is proud to announce the launch of the High Impact Film Fund Program (HIFFP), Florida’s largest film incentive initiative. Sponsored by Miami-Dade County Commissioner René Garcia and unanimously approved by the county commission, this groundbreaking program is set to provide up to $50 million in cash rebates over the next five years to attract major motion pictures and television series to the region.

The Miami-Dade County Office of Film and Entertainment is proud to announce the launch of the High Impact Film Fund Program (HIFFP), Florida’s largest film incentive initiative. Sponsored by Miami-Dade County Commissioner René Garcia and unanimously approved by the county commission, this groundbreaking program is set to provide up to $50 million in cash rebates over the next five years to attract major motion pictures and television series to the region.

High Impact Film Fund Program Overview

The HIFFP offers a cash rebate of up to 20 percent for qualifying domestic and international productions that choose to film in Miami-Dade County. This film incentive program aims to rejuvenate the local film industry by generating job opportunities, enhancing global visibility, boosting tourism, and attracting significant investments.

“The High Impact Film Fund Program is a testament to our commitment to nurturing both the artistic and economic growth of our community,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “This initiative aligns with our vision of making Miami-Dade a thriving hub for creative industries, and we look forward to the positive impact it will have on our county.”
