Developed by showrunner, writer, and executive producer Glen Mazzara, this series is set within the universe of the Extraction action thriller franchise, which first debuted in 2020 featuring Chris Hemsworth in the lead role. The inaugural season will consist of eight episodes, centering on a mercenary, portrayed by Omar Sy, who embarks on a perilous mission to rescue hostages in Libya.
