The film will be produced by Crawford’s long-time collaborator, Mark Swift. Their previous work on Puss in Boots: The Last Wish garnered them nominations for prestigious awards including the Oscar, BAFTA, and Golden Globe, showcasing their ability to create critically acclaimed content. This project marks their third collaboration, and it also serves as Mercado’s directorial debut, following his role as co-director on Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and head of story for The Croods: A New Age.
