In an exciting development for the film and television entertainment industry, Brahma, an innovative AI and content technology firm established by the renowned VFX company DNEG Group, has successfully acquired Metaphysic, a leader in AI content creation technology. This strategic move is set to significantly enhance the pace of Brahma’s AI product development, catering to content creators, IP rights holders, and enterprises alike.

Brahma is poised to create foundational AI, data, and content workflow & management technologies. This initiative will lead to a robust suite of AI-native products that empower users to generate customized content across various formats, including video, image, and audio.

A Talented Global Team

Following the acquisition, Brahma will boast a global team of over 800 engineers and creative technologists. This diverse group will merge DNEG Group’s award-winning creative technology portfolio—featuring Ziva’s acclaimed digital human and character simulation technology (2025 SciTech Award winner)—with Metaphysic’s cutting-edge AI technology (2025 VES Award for Emerging Technology for Here). Additionally, the integration will include CLEAR’s specialized AI platform and its extensive client base, cultivated over eight years of dedicated research and development in content discovery, creation, and management.

Leadership Team Driving Innovation

The executive management team at Brahma is led by Executive Chairman Prabhu Narasimhan. Namit Malhotra, the Founder and CEO of DNEG Group, will continue to serve as interim CEO of Brahma, while Thomas Graham, CEO of Metaphysic, will take on the role of President at Brahma. Once Metaphysic is fully integrated with Brahma’s technology and team, Thomas Graham will transition to the position of CEO.
