The Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF), led by actor Hussein Fahmy, has officially revealed the dates for its 46th edition. The festival is set to take place from November 12 to 21, 2025, at the renowned Cairo Opera House.In his statement, Hussein Fahmy emphasized, “As we announce our upcoming edition, we acknowledge the significant effort needed to tackle its challenges and achieve the success we aim for, while also learning from our previous experiences. We are optimistic that this edition will make a lasting impact on the history of the Cairo International Film Festival. I am particularly enthusiastic as we commenced preparations immediately after the conclusion of the last edition.”CIFF is recognized as one of the oldest film festivals in the Arab world and Africa, holding the unique distinction of being the only festival in the region classified as a Category A event by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in France.
