Beacon Media, the entertainment company co-founded by Deepak Chopra, has formed a strategic partnership with MovieVerse Studios, the mainstream content division of India’s IN10 Media Network. The collaboration aims to develop and produce content from the Global South for a potential audience of over three billion viewers across Hollywood, India, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.

The partnership is positioned to meet the growing global demand for diverse international content. The collaboration’s content strategy will span various formats, from traditional feature films to micro-series optimized for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The companies will leverage the deepening economic and cultural ties between India and the Gulf states, which are significant investors in India’s entertainment and technology sectors.

Executive Commentary

“This partnership will ensure that culturally rooted narratives reach the global stage,” stated Vivek Krishnani, CEO of MovieVerse Studios. Manoj Narender Madnani, Chairman of Beacon Media, commented on the alliance as part of a larger industry trend, noting that “collaboration, not competition, is the key to success.” Aditya Pittie, Managing Director of IN10 Media Network, added that the collaboration seeks to “foster a diverse and inclusive content ecosystem that resonates with global audiences.”

Initial Projects and Leadership

Initial projects include a Malayalam-language film for a global audience and adaptations of bestselling fiction by Deepak Chopra. Beacon Media has appointed author and screenwriter Manini Priyan as Head of Content to oversee the new slate. The company also maintains a production alliance with Fadi Ismail, former MBC Group drama director, for the creation of Arabic-language digital content.
