Peacock Premium Plus Now Available as a Prime Video Channel Subscription
Amazon and Comcast NBCUniversal today announced new and extended distribution agreements to expand and enhance entertainment options for millions of customers. A key element of this partnership is the availability of Peacock Premium Plus, NBCUniversal’s ad-free streaming service, as a direct subscription through Prime Video.
PEACOCK LAUNCHES ON PRIME VIDEO
The Peacock Premium Plus service is now available to U.S. Prime members as a channel subscription for $16.99 per month or $169.99 per year. This integration allows customers to access Peacock’s content directly through the Prime Video app, consolidating their streaming experience with a single billing relationship. Peacock joins a collection of over 100 subscription options available through Prime Video Channels.
BROAD DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENTS
The multi-faceted deal also includes renewals of existing agreements that benefit customers across multiple platforms. The Peacock app will continue to be available on Amazon Fire TV devices, and films from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will remain available to buy and rent on Prime Video. Additionally, Prime Video content will continue to be accessible to Comcast’s Xfinity TV customers via the Xfinity X1 platform and Xumo streambox. This collaboration is designed to provide greater access to content for a wide audience.
