During this period, she executive produced several acclaimed projects, including Coralie Fargeat’s Oscar-nominated “The Substance,” Nisha Ganatra’s “The High Note,” and the Peacock original film “Genie,” directed by Sam Boyd and written by Richard Curtis.
Prior to her time at Working Title, Loewy served as Senior Vice President of Production & Development at di Bonaventura Pictures. There, she oversaw the production of the global box office hit “The Meg,” which grossed over $529 million worldwide and led to a sequel. Leadership Vision at Miramax
In her new role, Loewy is expected to play a pivotal part in shaping Miramax’s film strategy, focusing on both leveraging the studio’s rich library and championing original content. CEO Jonathan Glickman expressed confidence in Loewy’s capabilities, stating, “Ali has a rare talent for spotting clutter-busting ideas and breakout filmmakers, pairing sharp creative instincts with real commercial firepower. She’s exactly the kind of leader we need to take Miramax’s legacy into its next chapter.”
