Partnership Overview

PAN-EUROPE, 26 June 2025 – A1 Group and SPI International, a global media conglomerate, announced a long-term strategic alliance aimed at transforming content delivery, distribution, and consumer experience across Southeast Europe.

Technical Distribution and Infrastructure

Under the agreement, A1 Group will act as the exclusive technical distribution partner for all SPI International channels in Europe. Responsibilities include transcoding, encryption, and uplink services via the Eutelsat 16A satellite—an essential orbital hub serving broadcasters across the EMEA region.

Channel Distribution and Subscriber Reach

SPI International’s portfolio—comprising 14 linear TV channels and its SVOD service—is set to reach A1 subscribers in Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and North Macedonia. A1 will also promote SPI’s SVOD offering, further cementing its leadership in regional entertainment.

Content Portfolio

The partnership delivers an expansive channel package tailored to diverse viewer interests:

• FilmBox brand (6 channels): FilmBox, FilmBox Family, FilmBox Premium, FilmBox Extra, FilmBox Stars, FilmBox Arthouse

• DIZI: Turkish drama series

• Thematic channels: DocuBox, FashionBox, FastnFunBox, FightBox, FunBox UHD, Gametoon
  SPI’s SVOD service—FilmBox+—adds a robust catalog for on-demand streaming.
