Acamar Films, the award-winning independent producer and distributor, has announced a series of new broadcast agreements for its popular animated series Bing across Latin America, Africa, and Europe. These partnerships are part of Acamar’s ongoing strategy to establish Bing as a globally recognized and enduring character, while continuing to grow its international fanbase.

In Latin America, Bing has secured a new home on the free-to-air channel Azteca 7 in Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. This marks a significant milestone in Acamar’s expansion throughout the region. The new Spanish-language version of Bing is now airing in a dedicated half-hour weekday slot, joining a lineup of other well-known preschool programs. The negotiations for this deal were led by Iñaki Orive of Brands & Rights 360.

Bing is also making its debut on linear television in Africa, with its first broadcast in South Africa on e.tv. The British English-language version will be available on eToonz, offering 104 episodes to young viewers and families across the country. eToonz, accessible to over four million households via the OpenView free-to-air platform, further strengthens Acamar’s presence in both North and sub-Saharan Africa, complementing existing partnerships with MBC in North Africa and the Middle East.

In Europe, Bing continues to grow its audience with a new agreement with Kixi, Germany’s largest independent streaming service for children’s content. Brokered by Jiella Esmat at 8 Lions Entertainment, Kixi will broadcast 52 episodes of a newly produced German-language version, as well as a 22-minute Christmas special. This localization was developed in collaboration with Studio Hamburg and Bing’s original German Voice Director, Marion von Stengel.

Mikael Shields, CEO of Acamar Films and Producer of Bing, commented: “Supporting our long-term relationships with broadcasters is at the heart of our success to date with Bing. While we are expanding our reach through digital, games, publishing, licensing, and live experiences, broadcasting remains essential for our audience. We are genuinely thrilled that many more children in Latin America, Africa, and Europe will be able to enjoy Bing in their own language. It’s an exciting start to 2026.”

These new broadcast deals further strengthen Bing’s global presence, with the preschool series now licensed in 141 territories worldwide. Created by Acamar Films in partnership with Brown Bag Films, Bing originally premiered on the BBC’s CBeebies and remains a leading show on both CBeebies and BBC iPlayer. Since its debut, Bing has become a beloved part of daily life for young children around the world, supporting healthy early development and emotional resilience through its authentic, expert-led storytelling and characters.
