Planning approval has been granted for the expansion of Sky Studios Elstree, a major development set to significantly increase the studio’s capacity and contribute to the UK’s creative economy. The project, a joint effort by Sky and Legal & General (L&G), will add 10 new sound stages to the existing 12, bringing the total to 22.

The expansion is projected to attract approximately £2 billion in new production investment to the UK within its first five years. The development is expected to create over 2,000 jobs, supporting both the creative and local economies.
