The Opportunity: Building a World-Class Platform

The Product Engineering Team at Vitrina have the great responsibility of building a world class, first of its kind platform that has the potential to transform how the entertainment industry sources/acquires video content and services from around the world. With the world’s most powerful Vertical AI to find content partners including studios, distributors, content service providers, broadcasters and streaming companies globally, Vitrina’s goal is to simplify transactions in the business of global video.

Your Impact: Provide Data-Driven Product Experience

A Product Analyst answers the question: “Is this feature working, and what should we build next based on the data?”

  • Market & User Research: They analyze market trends and competitor products to help position the product effectively.
  • Product Performance Tracking: They define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like retention rate, churn, daily active users (DAU), and conversion rates.
  • A/B Testing: They design and analyze experiments (e.g., testing two different versions of a “Sign Up” button) to see which one performs better.
  • Feature Analysis: After a new feature launches, they dig into the data to see if users are actually using it and if it’s adding value.
  • Stakeholder Communication: They translate complex data into clear insights and stories for non-technical stakeholders (like marketing or leadership teams).

What We Are Looking For: A Blend of Technical Mastery and Business Acumen.

To be successful, a Product Analyst needs a blend of technical capability and business acumen.

Technical Skills:

  • SQL: Essential for querying databases to get raw data.
  • Data Visualization: Tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to create dashboards.
  • Product Analytics Tools: Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Pendo.
  • Statistical Analysis: Understanding significance, correlation vs. causation, and regression models.

Soft Skills:

  • Business Acumen: Understanding how the product makes money and what drives business value.
  • Curiosity: The ability to ask “Why?” repeatedly when looking at data spikes or drops.
  • Communication: Presenting data in a way that persuades stakeholders to take action.
  • Startup Mindset: Emphasis on “agility”, “wearing multiple hats.” and the willingness to take ownership of setting up new analytical tools from scratch.
