WWE and Fanatics Forge New Podcast Partnership
WWE and Fanatics have entered into an exciting new podcast agreement, enhancing their existing brand collaboration that encompasses global e-commerce, licensed merchandise, memorabilia, and trading cards. As part of this deal, Fanatics will serve as the primary partner for all WWE podcasts, marking a significant step in their partnership.
Introducing “The Raw Recap Show”
Kicking things off, WWE will unveil “The Raw Recap Show,” hosted by Megan Morant and Sam Roberts. This podcast will be recorded right after “Monday Night Raw,” providing immediate reactions to each new episode. The inaugural episode of “The Raw Recap Show” will be available on Tuesday following “Raw” on Netflix.
Instant-Reaction Podcast After Premium Live Events
Additionally, WWE plans to launch an instant-reaction podcast hosted by Morant and Roberts after each Premium Live Event, with the first episode set to air following WrestleMania 41. Fanatics will have a prominent presence in each podcast, and the shows will benefit from access to Fanatics’ events and its extensive network of athletes.
Experienced Hosts with a Proven Track Record
Morant and Roberts have previously co-hosted various WWE talkback shows, including “The Bump,” “SmackDown LowDown,” and “Raw Talk” on Peacock, showcasing their chemistry and expertise in the WWE universe.
Accessible Content Across Multiple Platforms
New episodes of both podcasts will be accessible across all major podcast platforms, as well as WWE’s YouTube channel. Additional podcasts featuring WWE “Superstars and Legends” will be announced in the future, expanding the content offerings for fans.
Strengthening the Partnership Since 2022
Fanatics became WWE’s exclusive global e-commerce partner in 2022, subsequently broadening their long-term collaboration to include the management of WWE’s global event merchandise business, covering major events like WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble.
Exciting Events Ahead
Last year, Fanatics Events teamed up with WWE to launch the inaugural “WWE World” in Philadelphia during WrestleMania XL. Looking ahead, both brands will collaborate in April for a five-day festival in Las Vegas, coinciding with WrestleMania 41, promising an engaging experience for fans and industry stakeholders alike.
