Vie Vision Pictures, a leading force in Taiwan’s theatrical distribution landscape, has secured exclusive rights to distribute the Indo-Taiwanese action buddy comedy “Demon Hunters”, as announced at the Cannes Film Market.

Creative Team Behind the Film

Directed by Chen Mei-Juin (known for The Gangster’s Daughter), the film is a collaborative effort produced by Light House Productions from Taiwan and Kleos Entertainment Group from India.

Plot Overview

The storyline revolves around an unlikely alliance between a Taiwanese paranormal YouTuber and an Indian tech engineer, who must unite to tackle a supernatural menace threatening both of their realms.

Star-Studded Cast

The film features a talented cast led by India’s Arjan Bajwa (from the Prime Video series Bestseller) and Taiwan’s J.C. Lin (Breaking and Re-entering). The ensemble also includes Regina Lei (Antikalpa), Jack Kao (Seven Killings), and Harry Chan (A Boy and a Girl). The cinematography is in the capable hands of Hong Kong veteran Tony Cheung (Hidden Strike).

Release Timeline

Currently in post-production, “Demon Hunters” is aiming for a theatrical release in winter 2025.
