It has been some time since Suits was at the top of the streaming charts, but NBC is optimistic that viewers are eager for more from this legal franchise.

The network has announced a premiere date of February 23 for Suits: LA, a series set in the same universe as Suits, although it is not a direct spinoff. This drama, featuring Stephen Amell and Josh McDermitt, takes place at a Los Angeles law firm that focuses on entertainment and criminal law.

NBC expedited the show’s development late last year while Suits was experiencing a record-breaking streaming success. Suits: LA will be one of three dramas debuting in early 2025 on NBC, alongside the crime drama The Hunting Party, which follows a team of investigators pursuing notorious escapees from a secret prison, and Grosse Pointe Garden Society, about garden club members entangled in scandal and murder.

The Hunting Party is scheduled to premiere on February 3, following the launch of the spring edition of The Voice (with Brilliant Minds concluding its season in late January). Grosse Pointe Garden Society, produced by Good Girls executive producers Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs, will debut alongside Suits: LA on February 23. On that same evening, NBC will also premiere its long-awaited natural history series The Americas, narrated by Tom Hanks.
