Paramount has rescheduled The Running Man from its original release date of November 21, 2025, where it was set to compete with Wicked: For Good, to a new date of November 7, 2025.

The studio will also have access to IMAX screens, which is a significant advantage.

This change opens up an opportunity for a film targeting a male audience.

Additionally, Paramount has announced the release date for Regretting You, starring Dave Franco and McKenna Grace, set for October 24, 2025. This film is an adaptation of a popular work by Colleen Hoover, making it noteworthy.

Furthermore, Paramount has reserved January 15, 2027, for an untitled tentpole film in IMAX.

The studio is also removing Vicious from its schedule, which was previously set for February 28, 2025. This horror film, directed and written by Bryan Bertino and starring Dakota Fanning, is being repositioned to find a more suitable release date.

This weekend, Paramount is celebrating another success with Sonic The Hedgehog 3, projected to achieve a franchise-best domestic opening of over $72 million. This marks the fifth No. 1 opening for Paramount this year.
