NVIDIA GeForce NOW Launches Native App for Steam Deck

NVIDIA has unveiled a dedicated GeForce NOW application for the Steam Deck, enabling gamers to enjoy their favorite PC games with GeForce RTX quality. This announcement was made during Sony Group Corporation’s press conference at CES 2025 in Las Vegas.

The app is expected to launch later this year, allowing users to stream over 2,100 titles from platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect, and Xbox, leveraging the capabilities of a GeForce RTX 4080 gaming rig in the cloud.

In partnership with Apple, Meta, and ByteDance, GeForce NOW cloud gaming will also be accessible on devices like Apple Vision Pro spatial computers, Meta Quest 3, and 3S and Pico virtual/mixed-reality systems, incorporating all NVIDIA technologies, including ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS.

Additionally, GeForce NOW plans to establish its first data center in India, managed by NVIDIA, in the first half of 2025.

Upcoming titles for Steam Deck users (and all supported GeForce NOW devices) include DOOM: The Dark Ages and Avowed, set to launch on PC this year.
