In the wake of the heartbreaking incident on the set of “Rust,” which resulted in the tragic loss of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, the documentary “Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna” seeks to unveil the real events that unfolded.
This Hulu documentary invites viewers to revisit the fateful day of October 21, 2021, and the ensuing media frenzy surrounding Alec Baldwin, who discharged the prop gun, and the subsequent legal proceedings. In the film, Hutchins’ close friend and director, Rachel Mason, candidly shares her experience of the tragedy and the profound impact of losing a cherished friend and colleague.
The documentary incorporates public court documents, behind-the-scenes footage from “Rust,” and access to Hutchins’ personal archives, all aimed at honoring her legacy and story.
“Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna” is set to premiere on March 11 on Hulu, produced by Julee Metz, Kate Barry, Jon Bardi, and Will Cohen for Story Syndicate, alongside Jessica Grimshaw, Nick Shumaker, and Jennifer Sears for Anonymous Content.

Julianne Hough and Jesse Palmer are set to host “The Oscars Red Carpet Show” prior to the 97th Academy Awards, showcasing Oscar nominees, performers, and presenters as they grace the red carpet.
ABC News will kick off its live coverage with Lara Spencer on “Good Morning America” on February 26, followed by James Longman on February 28. The coverage will extend into Friday afternoon with “GMA3: What You Need to Know” and culminate in the evening with “Countdown to the Oscars with Robin Roberts: A Special Edition of ’20/20’”, featuring an exclusive interview with first-time host Conan O’Brien.
On March 2, pre-show coverage will include “World News Tonight” anchor Linsey Davis, “Good Morning America” co-anchor Whit Johnson, ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly, KABC-TV entertainment reporter George Pennacchio, and Variety’s chief awards editor Clayton Davis.
Following the Oscars ceremony, “Live with Kelly and Mark” will broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre, and the “After the Oscars Show” will air on March 3.

Warner Bros. Discovery is set to launch Max in Australia on March 31, bringing popular series like “The Last of Us,” “House of the Dragon,” and “Euphoria” to the platform.

Chiquis’ “Foodie on the Go” series is premiering on March 13 at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT, marking the return of the three-time Latin Grammy Winner to television screens in this exciting new food and travel series.
“Foodie on the Go” follows Chiquis as she journeys across the U.S. to connect with chefs and restaurant owners, uncovering local gems and small businesses along the way. The inaugural episode will take place in Chicago at Volare Restaurant, while the second episode will spotlight Solvang, California, featuring Peasants Feast.
The series will debut on LATV linear channels, LatiNation Fast channels, and will also be available for streaming on the LatiNation+ app. Produced by Busy Bee Productions and LatiNation Media, new episodes will be released every Thursday through April 17.

Production has concluded on “Star Trek: Khan,” a new scripted audio series set in the Star Trek Universe. Naveen Andrews will lend his voice to the iconic character Khan, while Wrenn Schmidt will portray Marla McGivers, a former Starfleet historian who followed Khan into exile. This series picks up after “Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan,” exploring Khan and his followers after they are abandoned on the barren planet Ceti Alpha V by Captain Kirk.
The official synopsis states: “History remembers Khan Noonien Singh as a villain, the result of a failed attempt to perfect humanity through genetic engineering, whose quest for vengeance against Admiral James T. Kirk led to unimaginable tragedy and loss. However, the truth has been buried for too long beneath the sands of Ceti Alpha V. How did Khan transform from a benevolent tyrant and superhuman visionary with a new world at his fingertips into the monster we believe we know so well? Recently uncovered, the rest of Khan’s story will finally be revealed.”
“Star Trek: Khan” is penned by Kirsten Beyer and David Mack, based on a story by Nicholas Meyer, the writer-director of “Wrath of Khan.” The series is produced by CBS’ Eye Podcast Productions Inc., Secret Hideout, and Rodenberry Entertainment, with executive producers including Beyer, Alex Kurtzman, and Rod Roddenberry. The audio series is directed by Fred Greenhalgh.
