Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming animated film, The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep.

Inspired by Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story “A Little Sacrifice,” the narrative follows Geralt of Rivia as he investigates a series of attacks in a coastal village. He becomes embroiled in a long-standing conflict between humans and merfolk, relying on both old and new allies to unravel the mystery before tensions escalate into full-scale war.

Returning from the live-action The Witcher series, Joey Batey and Anya Chalotra lend their voices to Jaskier and Yennefer, respectively. Christina Wren joins the cast as Essi Daven, while Doug Cockle, known for voicing Geralt in the Witcher video games, reprises his role.

The film is directed by Kang Hei Chul, with a screenplay by Mike Ostrowski and Rae Benjamin. The animation is produced by the acclaimed Studio MIR, recognized for its work on The Legend of Korra and Netflix’s Voltron: Legendary Defender.
