Netflix MENA has proudly launched Voy! Voy! Voy!, the debut feature film from Egyptian commercial director Omar Hilal.

Notably, Voy! Voy! Voy! has been honored as the Best Egyptian Film of 2023 by the Egyptian Film Critics Association (EFCA).

The film achieved remarkable success at the 53rd Rotterdam International Film Festival, where it featured two sold-out screenings as part of the Limelight Programme, celebrated for highlighting avant-premieres of global cinematic gems.

Chosen as Egypt’s official entry for the 96th Academy Awards, Voy! Voy! Voy! tells the compelling story of Hassan, a security guard with dreams of traveling abroad. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he discovers blind football and pretends to be visually impaired to join a team competing in a World Cup tournament in Europe. Throughout his adventure, Hassan meets a diverse cast of characters, including a captivating journalist, a seasoned coach, and his two closest friends, all while aspiring for a brighter future in Europe.
