The wait is nearly at an end! The highly anticipated second and final season of Lucasfilm’s critically acclaimed Rogue One prequel, Andor, is set to premiere on Disney+ on April 22. After several delays—initially scheduled for August 2024, then postponed to last November, and now finally arriving this spring—the series will be presented in four compelling chapters, each consisting of three episodes.

Returning Talent and Creative Team

Diego Luna reprises his role as Cassian Andor, joined by a talented ensemble cast including Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, and Alan Tudyk, alongside Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker. The series is crafted by Tony Gilroy, who not only created the show but also serves as an executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, Luke Hull, and John Gilroy. The writing team includes Tony Gilroy for the first three episodes, with Beau Willimon handling episodes 4-6, Dan Gilroy for episodes 7-9, and Tom Bissell for episodes 10-12. The direction is led by Ariel Kleiman (Episodes 1-6), Janus Metz (Episodes 7-9), and Alonso Ruizpalacios (Episodes 10-12).
