Max Fleischer Fans are in for a treat at the annual Los Angeles Animation Festival next week at the Eastwood Performing Art Center in Hollywood. The event includes screenings of shorts, competitions, and a special Fleischer restoration spotlight program, leading up to the awards night and party on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Thursday, Dec. 5, will feature a pre-competition meetup at Big Foot Lodge. Friday’s opening event showcases classic animation shorts from around the world.
