Netflix and Imtiaz Ali Collaborate Again with “O Saathi Re”

Following the success of “Amar Singh Chamkila,” Netflix is once again teaming up with acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for a fresh exploration of contemporary human emotions in the upcoming series “O Saathi Re.”

Production Details and Cast

Produced by Window Seat Films and Reliance Entertainment, this series marks the continuation of Netflix’s collaboration with Imtiaz. The cast includes talented actors Aditi Rao Hydari, Avinash Tiwary, and Arjun Rampal. Production is slated to commence by the end of this month, with “O Saathi Re” set to explore “the vintage feeling of love in contemporary times.”

Creative Team Behind the Series

Imtiaz Ali, known for his work on “Tamasha,” “Rockstar,” “Jab We Met,” and “Love Aaj Kal,” will take on multiple roles as creator, writer, and showrunner for the series. He will also serve as an executive producer alongside Mohit Choudhary. The series will be directed by Imtiaz’s brother Arif Ali, who previously directed “She.” The writing team includes Imtiaz and Amogh Kanaskar, with Nidhi Sethia joining as creative producer. Returning Talent to Netflix

This project sees the cast returning to Netflix: Aditi Rao Hydari after her role in “Heeramandi,” Avinash Tiwary following his performance in “Sikandar Ka Muqaddar,” and Arjun Rampal returning after “Rana Naidu” Season 2.
