Dubai, UAE – December 5, 2025 — HollyShorts Dubai is proud to host a special session in collaboration with Vitrina, the leading entertainment supply chain platform.

Titled “Tracking New Productions & Global Collaborations: What’s Shaping Film+TV,” this 30-minute talk features Vitrina’s CEO unveiling exclusive data and insights into global trends, MENA’s growing influence in early-stage development, and how platforms like Netflix and Prime Video are adapting their regional strategies.

Vitrina’s session will be held on Sunday, December 13 at 11.30 a.m. at Studio One Hotel, Studio City Dubai.

The session will also explore international co-productions, key industry decision-makers, and rising formats like micro-series and video podcasts — offering attendees a front-row view of what’s driving the future of content.

Jeff Pryor, Strategic Advisor, HollyShorts Dubai, said: “Our goal is to bring market intelligence and forecasting of trends to give our attendees the information they need to develop production and distribution strategies for their short films. We are pleased to be associated with Vitrina, a leading global research firm serving more than 145,000 production companies in over 100 countries. Their presentation will help chart and provide a much-needed roadmap to the future development of the film market in the UAE.”

The panel will be led by Atul Phadnis, the Founder-CEO of Vitrina, a San Francisco-Bay Area company transforming how the global Film & TV industry connects and collaborates.

Vitrina is a market network and intelligence platform that helps studios, production companies, streamers, distributors, and service providers find the right partners, financiers, and projects – across every stage of the content lifecycle, from development to financing to distribution.

Simply put, Vitrina makes the global entertainment supply-chain more transparent, connected, and efficient.

Before Vitrina, Atul served as Chief Content Officer at Gracenote, leading worldwide content operations that supported $500M in revenues across video, music, and sports in 80+ countries. He was part of the leadership team that steered Gracenote’s $560M acquisition by Nielsen.

Earlier, he was the Founder & CEO of What’s-ON, Asia’s leading TV metadata and video search company, backed by Sequoia Capital, Intel Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners. What’s-ON was acquired by Gracenote in 2014, marking a successful entrepreneurial exit for Atul, his team and his investors.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Atul brings deep expertise in global film and tv supply-chains.
