In a recent interview with Amar Ujala, Suniel Shetty shared a significant update: the teaser for ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is ready and set to be released just before the IPL 2025 Finale. This announcement has sparked joy among fans, who are eager to see Raju, Shyam, and Baburao back on screen after more than two decades.

 

When discussing the film’s progress, Shetty confirmed that shooting has already commenced and the project is actively in development. He expressed his enthusiasm about reuniting with his co-stars, stating, “I’m excited because it’s the same team. There’s always a lot of fun on set.” Reflecting on the chemistry among the trio, he added, “Whenever the three of us are together, it’s absolute chaos for everyone around us—in the best way!”

The anticipation for ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is well-founded, arriving nearly 24 years after the original film, ‘Hera Pheri’ (1999), which became a cult classic. Fans have longed for the return of the legendary characters—Raju, Shyam, and Baburao—whose comedic escapades have remained timeless.

Director Priyadarshan, who directed the first film, previously acknowledged the complexities of creating a third installment in an interview with ETV. “It’s going to be very challenging because there will be immense expectations,” he noted. “The characters have aged, and the audience needs to believe in them again. These are crucial aspects. I’m taking it as a challenge. Let’s see how it turns out.”

With the teaser release now officially confirmed to precede the IPL 2025 finale, the excitement among fans is at an all-time high. The return of ‘Hera Pheri’ promises not only nostalgia but also laughter and the magic of a trio that has made a lasting impact on Indian cinema.
