The Continental, a show set in the John Wick universe, will not return for a second season on Peacock.
This prequel series, which was limited to three episodes, premiered on the streaming service in September 2023. It featured Colin Woodell as a young Winston Scott, who aims to take charge of The Continental hotel from the John Wick franchise.
In a recent interview, producer Basil Iwanyk appeared to confirm that there will be no additional season.
“We were pleased with season one,” Iwanyk stated to The Direct. “We discussed the possibility of season two, but the consensus is that if we pursue a television project in the John Wick universe, the version by Robert Levine is likely the preferred direction for John Wick content on TV.”

He went on to express his appreciation for working on The Continental, mentioning, “I loved the ’70s aspect of it, Albert Hughes, and everything involved. It was a unique and exciting concept. Now, we want to create something that will shape the franchise’s future.”
Iwanyk mentioned the sequel series titled John Wick: Under the High Table. In August, Deadline reported that this series will be executive produced by Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski, who is also set to direct the pilot.
Under the High Table, written by The Old Man co-creator Robert Levine, will continue directly after the events of John Wick: Chapter 4.
Additionally, a fifth John Wick film is in development, and John Wick: The High Table is not expected to interfere with plans for a potential new film installment.
