Trends January 2024 – May 2024
  • This graph illustrates the trends in production volumes within the entertainment industry across different regions. The Americas lead the way, in May, with the highest number of production transactions, reflecting its dominant position in the global market. Although it’s pertinent to note that there is an aberration to Americas domination, coming behind EMEA in Q1’24, largely due to the after effects of the Hollywood Strikes.Following the Americas, the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) shows substantial activity, indicating a robust and growing entertainment sector. The APAC (Asia-Pacific) region trails behind the Americas and EMEA. EMEA has become a hub for factual content and documentaries, driving its expansion.

Key reasons for our team to choose this deal was the fact that we wanted to put the spotlight on a non-Hollywood project as well as the fact that the project has seen the involvement of renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, known for his innovative storytelling and bold narratives. With Kashyap on board, “Bad Cop” is poised to push boundaries and deliver a gripping viewing experience that resonates with audiences across India and beyond.
