Apple TV+ has announced a second season for the animated kids and family series Eva the Owlet, based on the Owl Diaries book series by Rebecca Elliott, with a premiere date of January 24, 2025. A first-look clip from the holiday special “Eva’s Moon Wish” will debut on December 13, 2024.

The show follows Eva, a creative owlet who lives in Treetopington with her friend Lucy. Season two will showcase Eva’s adventures and dreams, as she tackles challenges with enthusiasm while documenting them in her diary.

In the holiday special, “Eva’s Moon Wish,” Eva helps a lost oriole find his family and learns about the importance of community.

Produced by Scholastic Entertainment and animated by Brown Bag Films, Eva the Owlet features original music by Fitz of Fitz and the Tantrums. The voice cast includes Vivienne Rutherford as Eva, Jessica DiCicco as Eva’s mom, and Dino Andrade as Eva’s dad.
