Dubai Opera Presents Tchaikovsky’s Masterpiece

This captivating work, inspired by Alexander Pushkin’s novel-in-verse, delves into profound themes of unfulfilled love, regret, and fate.

The Story of Love and Regret

The narrative follows Tatyana, a young woman whose genuine affection is spurned by the aloof and proud Eugene Onegin. As time passes, Onegin comes to realize his error, but finds it too late for redemption. Tchaikovsky’s exquisite score and orchestration vividly bring this poignant tale to life, offering audiences an immersive experience.

Featuring an Acclaimed Cast

This production will feature the National Theatre Brno opera, orchestra, and choir, showcasing an internationally celebrated cast. Dalibor Jenis takes on the role of Eugene Onegin, with Linda Ballová as Tatyana, Peter Berger as Vladimir Lensky, Václava Krejčí Housková as Olga, and Hungarian bass Kornél Mikecz as Zarecký.
