This program is designed to empower specialists in the region to effectively utilize AI technologies within media operations.

The Dubai Press Club (DPC), in partnership with Dubai Media Academy, has introduced a targeted training program aimed at exploring the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into media strategies. This initiative underscores DPC’s dedication to remaining at the forefront of digital advancements and enhancing the media landscape in the region.

The program is tailored to boost the skills of media professionals, facilitating the swift adoption of AI tools and enabling participants to harness the transformative capabilities of AI in their roles. Through a series of engaging workshops and informative sessions, attendees acquired valuable insights and practical skills to devise innovative solutions for media operations.

Maryam Al Mulla, Acting Director of the Dubai Press Club, remarked: “This program embodies DPC’s vision to cultivate an innovative media environment and equip talents with new skills that propel the growth of the region’s media sector. She highlighted that the program provided an excellent platform for developing innovative media models that leverage AI, while also fostering the exchange of expertise and knowledge among participants.

The program included thought-provoking sessions led by industry leaders and experts. One notable session, titled From Lab to Newsroom: Success Stories of AI in Media, showcased practical case studies from esteemed organizations such as Forbes, CNBC Arabia, and Dubai Media, illustrating real-world applications of AI in content creation, analytics, and distribution.

Another session, The Turning Point: Addressing AI’s Growing Challenges in Media, featured discussions with experts from Dell Technologies, Sky News Arabia, Asharq News, and Al Bayan newspaper. Key topics included tackling misinformation, bridging linguistic divides, and ensuring fairness in AI-driven media practices.

This joint program highlighted the shared commitment of DPC and Dubai Media Academy to foster innovation in the media sector while addressing the ethical and operational challenges associated with AI. Participants left equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively integrate AI into their strategies, paving the way for a more advanced and resilient media ecosystem.
