Join us for Next Africa, airing on the fourth Friday of each month, where we delve into the dynamic forces shaping the future of the continent.

Bloomberg Television has rebranded its monthly show focused on Africa to Next Africa. This new identity brings together television, podcast, and newsletter content under one cohesive banner, delivering comprehensive news and analysis on finance, business, and significant developments across the continent. Formerly known as Africa Amplified, this refreshed program aims to provide deeper insights into Africa’s evolving economic landscape.

Hosted by Jennifer Zabasajja, Bloomberg Television’s Chief Africa Correspondent, Next Africa will broadcast live from Bloomberg’s Johannesburg studio, featuring on-the-ground reporting from key cities like Johannesburg, Kigali, and Lagos. The inaugural episode under the new branding is set to launch on February 28.

In addition to her role on Next Africa, Zabasajja also contributes to Bloomberg Horizons Middle East and Africa, a regional morning show anchored by Joumanna Bercetche from Dubai, which airs daily in the UAE.

We are excited to announce that Egypt’s Commercial International Bank (CIB) has signed on as the exclusive sponsor of Next Africa across all platforms, including TV, podcast, newsletter, digital, and social media. The program will be streamed live on Bloomberg.com and will be accessible to Bloomberg Terminal subscribers globally. Additionally, it will be available locally on MultiChoice, AVO TV, and Discover Digital.

With access to Bloomberg’s extensive network of over 3,000 journalists and analysts, Next Africa is poised to deliver authoritative coverage of the critical forces shaping Africa’s future. This is an essential resource for business leaders in the film and television entertainment industry looking to stay informed and engaged with the continent’s evolving landscape.
