Amazon Prime Video Nordics has promoted Andreas Hjertø to regional manager, succeeding Martin Backlund. Hjertø will oversee investments, programming, and partnerships, collaborating with head of originals Karin Lindström. He will focus on a mix of global and Nordic content, including international films and TV series alongside Nordic Originals like “”LOL: The One Who Laughs Last.”” Upcoming fiction series such as “”Blind Spot,”” “”Harald & Sonja,”” and “”Paradise City”” are also planned. Hjertø joined Prime Video in 2021 after a five-year tenure at NENT.
