Acamar Films, the award-winning independent producer and distributor, has announced new broadcast partnerships for its popular animated series Bing across Latin America, Africa, and Europe. These agreements are part of Acamar’s ongoing strategy to establish Bing as a globally recognized and enduring character, while growing its international fanbase.

In Latin America, Bing has secured a new home on the free-to-air channel Azteca 7 in Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. This marks a significant milestone in Acamar’s expansion throughout the region. The new Spanish-language version of Bing is airing in a dedicated half-hour weekday slot, joining other well-known preschool programs. The negotiations for this deal were led by Iñaki Orive of Brands & Rights 360.

Bing is also making its debut on linear television in South Africa, with the British English-language version set to air on eToonz. This launch brings 104 episodes to young viewers and families across South Africa, a country with over 63 million people. eToonz, available on the OpenView free-to-air platform, reaches more than four million households. This agreement further strengthens Acamar’s presence in North and sub-Saharan Africa, complementing its successful partnerships with MBC in North Africa and the Middle East.

In Europe, Bing will now be available on Kixi, Germany’s largest independent streaming service for children’s content. Through a deal brokered by Jiella Esmat at 8 Lions Entertainment, Kixi will broadcast 52 episodes of a new German-language version, as well as a 22-minute Christmas special. The localization was produced in partnership with Studio Hamburg and Bing’s original German Voice Director, Marion von Stengel.

Mikael Shields, CEO of Acamar Films and Producer of Bing, commented: “Supporting our long-term relationships with broadcasters is at the heart of our success to date with Bing. While we continue to expand our fandom through digital, games, publishing, licensing, and live experiences, broadcasting remains crucially important for our audience. We are genuinely thrilled that many more children in Latin America, Africa, and Europe will be able to enjoy Bing in their own language. It’s an exciting start to 2026.”

These new broadcast deals add to Acamar’s global achievements with Bing, which has now been licensed in 141 territories worldwide. Created by Acamar Films in partnership with Brown Bag Films, Bing originally premiered on the BBC’s CBeebies and remains a leading show on both CBeebies and BBC iPlayer. Since its debut, Bing has become a beloved part of daily life for young children around the world, supporting healthy early development and emotional resilience through its authentic, expert-led storytelling and characters.
