Independent Film Company Secures North American Rights to “100 Nights of Hero”

 

Independent Film Company has successfully acquired the North American distribution rights for “100 Nights of Hero,” an ensemble fairy tale romance featuring a stellar cast including Emma Corrin, Nicholas Galitzine, Maika Monroe, Amir El-Masry, Charli XCX, Richard E. Grant, and Felicity Jones.

The film is penned and directed by Julia Jackman, who has adapted Isabel Greenberg’s acclaimed graphic novel, “The One Hundred Nights of Hero.”

The film is set for a wide theatrical release later this year. “100 Nights of Hero” centers on Cherry (Monroe), a woman whose neglectful husband leaves after placing a secret wager to test her fidelity. Alongside her sharp-witted maid, Hero (Corrin), Cherry must navigate the advances of a dangerously seductive visitor, Manfred (Galitzine).

The film features a talented cast: Corrin is known for her roles in “The Crown,” “Deadpool & Wolverine,” and “Nosferatu.” Galitzine has starred in “Red, White & Royal Blue,” “The Idea of You,” and the upcoming “Masters of the Universe.” Monroe is recognized for “Longlegs” and “It Follows.” El-Masry has appeared in “Limbo” and “Club Zero.” Charli XCX recently celebrated the success of her 2024 album, “Brat.” Grant is an Oscar nominee for “Can You Ever Forgive Me?” while Jones has received Academy Award nominations for her performances in “The Theory of Everything” and “The Brutalist.”

Aspin and Simmons produced ‘100 Nights of Hero’ for Erebus Pictures, with Johnson producing for Project Infinity.

The deal was negotiated by Shooman and Rachael Labes for Independent Film Company, while WME Independent, CAA Media Finance, and UTA Independent Film Group represented the filmmakers. WME Independent is also handling international sales.
