In an exciting development for the streaming landscape, Pluto TV has unveiled its most extensive anime content refresh to date, perfectly aligned with the month of “Ani-May.” This initiative introduces over 800 hours of programming and more than 120 feature films to its platform.

This week, anime enthusiasts can dive into a thrilling marathon of Hunter x Hunter, featuring the adventures of Gon and Killua. Fans can enjoy a full day of action-packed episodes on the platform’s Anime All Day channel, running through Sunday, May 18.

Based on the acclaimed manga by Yoshihiro Togashi, serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump, Hunter x Hunter transports viewers to a world where “Hunters” explore uncharted territories in search of rare treasures and formidable monsters. To become a Hunter, one must pass the perilous Hunter Examination. The story follows 12-year-old Gon Freecss on his quest to find his father, a Hunter himself. Alongside his new friends, each with their own aspirations, Gon embarks on a dangerous journey into the unknown.

Originally launched in Japan in 2011, the anime series consists of 148 episodes and was produced by VAP, Nippon TV, and Shueisha, with animation crafted by Madhouse.
