Global satellite operator ABS (Agility Beyond Space) has announced the appointment of Sameer Karimbhai as its new General Counsel. He brings over 15 years of extensive legal experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, finance, governance, and regulatory compliance across the satellite, telecommunications, and energy sectors.

Prior to joining ABS, Karimbhai played a pivotal role at Eutelsat Communications, where he was instrumental in securing over $4 billion in equity and debt funding, managing OneWeb’s Chapter 11 restructuring, and facilitating its $6.8 billion merger with Eutelsat. His vast experience in leading legal teams, advising executive leadership, and overseeing complex corporate transactions will be crucial as ABS advances its growth strategy.
