Newen Studios from France and the free-to-air broadcaster TF1 Group have entered into an agreement with Netflix to co-produce the streaming service’s inaugural daily drama series tailored for France.

The series, titled Tout Pour La Lumière (All for Light), is a family-oriented drama centered around music and dance. Production is set to begin next year, and it will be accessible on Netflix five days before its airing on TF1 and the VOD platform TF1+.

Newen will not only produce the series but also provide co-financing. The script is co-written by Coline Assous, Yentl Coubes, and Maxime Cormier, with production led by Céline François and oversight from Stéphanie Brémond, who serves as Deputy General Director of continuing drama and long-form series at Newen Studios. Filming will take place in the Mediterranean town of La Ciotat, along with studio sets located in La Belle de Mai, Marseille.
