At the 2024 Disney APAC Content Showcase, Disney+ and Lucasfilm announced the renewal of Star Wars: Visions for Volume 3. The upcoming season, set to release in 2025, will feature nine new anime shorts.

 

Initially launched in 2021, the series consisted of nine shorts created by seven Japanese anime studios, exploring the Star Wars universe from different cultural perspectives. The second volume, released last year, expanded the animation styles to include studios from various countries.

 

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will showcase nine shorts by nine different anime studios, with familiar names like Kamikaze Douga, Kinema citrus Co., Production I.G, and TRIGGER returning, alongside newcomers ANIMA, David Production, Polygon Pictures, Project Studio Q, and WIT Studio.
