Disney has officially renewed Project Runway for a 22nd season, with the new episodes scheduled to premiere in 2026 on Hulu, Disney+, and Freeform.

Heidi Klum will return as host and judge, joined by mentor Christian Siriano and judges Law Roach and Nina Garcia. Season 21, which aired this year, marked the show’s first run under Disney’s ownership after previously airing on Bravo and Lifetime since its 2004 debut. The season also saw Klum’s return after a five-season break and introduced celebrity stylist Roach to the judging panel.

Disney refreshed the format with new challenges inspired by its own properties, including a Princess vs. Villain episode, and featured guest appearances from Abbott Elementary stars Lisa Ann Walter and Chris Perfetti. Veejay Floresca was named the winner of Season 21.

Project Runway is produced by Spyglass Media Group and Alfred Street Industries. Executive producers include Gary Barber and Sean Hoagland for Spyglass, and Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, Michael Rucker, and San Heng for Alfred Street Industries. Klum, Siriano, and Garcia also serve as executive producers, with Roach as co-executive producer.

Since its launch in 2004, Project Runway has been a platform for emerging designers, helping to launch the careers of talents such as Siriano, Austin Scarlett, Leanne Marshall, Irina Shabayeva, Michael Costello, and Bishme Cromartie. After Klum and mentor Tim Gunn departed in 2018 to create Making the Cut for Amazon Prime Video, Karlie Kloss took over as host for two seasons, with Siriano stepping in as mentor. Siriano later assumed both hosting and mentoring duties for Seasons 19 and 20.
