London-based content distribution company Media I.M. Incorporated, known for its focus on premium animation and family entertainment, has announced the first international sales for its preschool series Tatty and Misifu, alongside a series of new licensing deals for its long-running hit Sunny Bunnies.
The company has licensed all five seasons of Tatty and Misifu (57 x 5 minutes) to Janson Media for Amazon Prime, as well as to HappyKids in the U.S. and Kidoodle.TV in Canada. Produced by Barcelona-based Toy Town Kids, the 2D animated show follows the adventures of a young witch, Tatty, and her loyal cat companion, Misifu. Set in a magical, fantasy world, the series emphasizes problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and lessons about friendship, bravery, and creativity.
Meanwhile, Sunny Bunnies—which Media I.M. has represented for nearly a decade—continues its global success, with the preschool brand now in its ninth season. Ahead of MIPCOM, new broadcast deals have been finalized with Viaplay (seasons 5–8) for the Nordic countries, Animeta (seasons 1–6) for South Asia, Sensical US (seasons 1–2), PRO TV Romania (seasons 1–6), Nelonen Finland (seasons 5–6), and BabyFirst (seasons 5–6) for the U.S. and Latin America. Additionally, Spacetoons has secured licensing and events rights for the MENA region, planning live meet-and-greet events and stage shows.
Originally launched on YouTube in 2015, Sunny Bunnies now airs in over 160 countries, backed by licensing programs across categories such as toys and publishing. Season nine, released on YouTube in December 2024, has become one of the show’s top performers, reaching nearly 12 million views and two million hours of watch time to date.
A standout in the latest season is Mimi, a new green frog character who has quickly become a fan favorite for her mischievous yet endearing personality. Episodes featuring Mimi consistently rank among the most popular of the season, resonating strongly with young audiences worldwide.
Irina Nazarenko, co-founder of Media I.M., commented:
“At their core, both Tatty and Misifu and Sunny Bunnies deliver joyful, heartwarming entertainment. Their colorful animation and charming storytelling inspire imagination while teaching valuable life lessons — and these new sales show that this timeless formula continues to delight audiences and buyers alike.”
At MIPCOM, Media I.M. will also present its newest acquisition, Zola and Friends, a 3D animated series co-produced by Wordsword Creations (India) and Double Dot Studios (Canada). Written by Nigerian screenwriter Omotunde Akiode and directed by Ghanaian filmmaker Francis Y. Brown, the 25 x 11-minute series is set in Tanzania’s Serengeti and follows the adventures of Zola, a friendly white rhino, and her friends — Mosi the monkey, Kito the lizard, and Shani the snake — in a colorful world aimed at children aged three to six.
